• Storage access: Used to browse folders and files on your device so they can be shared with other devices on your local network. This permission is required for the app's core file-browsing and sharing feature to work.

ShareBox does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any other device data beyond what's listed above.

3.How Your Files Are Shared

• Files are served directly from your device to other devices over your local Wi-Fi network.
• No files, filenames, or folder contents are uploaded to any external server, cloud service, or third party.
• Devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network to access shared files — ShareBox does not enable remote or internet-based access to your files.
• Anyone connected to the same Wi-Fi network who has access to the ShareBox web address can browse and download the files you're sharing, so we recommend using ShareBox only on networks you trust.

4.Data We Do Not Collect

ShareBox does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information such as your name, email, or phone number
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• File contents, filenames, or folder structures to any server we operate
• Advertising identifiers, and ShareBox does not display ads

5.Data Storage

All file data accessed by ShareBox stays on your device and the devices you choose to share it with over your local network. ShareBox does not maintain any backend servers that store or process your files.

6.Children's Privacy

ShareBox is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from children, as it does not collect personal information from any user.
